In a transformative move, UnBossed Columbus, is relaunching as Central Ohio's premier black streaming news and talk network and we’re back with renewed strength, and it's not just another media platform; it's a cultural force.

Our Story

UnBossed! Columbus was born in May 2020, out of a passion for giving voice to the often unheard. It recognized the need for a platform dedicated to reflecting the unique experiences, challenges, and triumphs of Columbus's Black community. What began as a local initiative has swiftly become a national beacon of authenticity and representation.

The vision is clear and powerful: to be the indispensable voice of Black Columbus. Davante Goins, the driving force behind UnBossed! Columbus emphasized, "We didn't have a cohesive brand, so this relaunch gave us a fresh start. We just had to find a philosophy we believe in and own."

He also says, "We are the only locally-owned and black-owned news outlet in Central Ohio." “Our mission is to speak truth to power, control our narrative, and fight against fake news.”

This relaunch marks a significant step forward for UnBossed! Columbus as they continue their mission to be the authentic voice of the Black community in Columbus, Ohio. In the words of the late Congresswoman Shirley Chisholm, they’re going to remain “UnBought and UnBossed.”
