Columbus hits 101-homicides in 2021
9-year-old girl is dead after a shooting in the Hilltop
Earlier this evening we were on the scene of the city's 101st homicide. Tonight at this hour UnBossed is being told a 9-year-old girl is dead after a shooting the Hilltop neighborhood.
The Columbus Division of Police told us they were dispatched at 7:27 p.m. to a house located on the 400 block of South Eureka Avenue.
Upon their arrival they found a girl suffering from a gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene by medics at 7:34 p.m.
